My name is Rafał Kułaga and I am 22-year-old student of Automatics and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology in beautiful City of Cracow, Poland. Here is my recent photo:
I have been programming and using GNU/Linux OS since year 2002. During last 2 years, I have used C++ and Qt library extensively for projects at my University. I also possess working knowledge of Java and PHP, although I have never used them for any bigger project.
I thoroughly enjoy technical writing. I have written over 50 articles for Polish IT-related magazines: Software Developer’s Journal and Linux+, mainly about programming, Linux kernel architecture for beginners and network packet analysis.
Apart from IT-related stuff, I am interested in digital electronics, microcontrollers in particular. I have done some programming for AVR and ARM architectures, although these were rather tinkering projects. I also possess some knowledge of hardware description languages, with VHDL being my HDL of choice.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, good literature and music, especially rock and classical music. My two favorite bands are Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden.
